We have a 4 year old PWD boy, because of a change in family circumstances needs a new home. He is a well loved boy but because of circumstances, needs to find a new home.

Alex (Deceased)
Alex became the first UK and US Champion Portuguese Water Dog on the 11th May 2011.

Alex’s achievement has been commented on by dozens of people here in the UK and by many people who knew him in the USA. He has been used at stud in the USA, UK, Ireland and Czech Republic. His services are still being requested. We imported this lovely boy from the USA. He arrived here in September 2009. He was bred by the most successful PWD breeder in the US at the time. He was the dog that gave Robenger Kennel the opportunity to develop our own style.
Alex died early 2019. He had a problem with his heart and I found that he was unable to keep standing one morning. So we had to say good by to him when he was 12. He is going to be sadly missed as he was the founding dog in Robenger Kennel.
Holly (Deceased)
Holly is our first Portuguese Water Dog. She has done well in the show ring. She is lovely and has a very loyal character. She is a black wavy coated bitch with no white markings at all. She was bred at the Gemson Kennel at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

Amazingly, she has given birth to over 50 puppies in 4 litters. Of course, when you have had over 50 puppies you take a while to get back in to shape. She retired early from the ring as getting back her shape after those puppies was too much for her.
Holly was our foundation bitch in Robenger Kennel. She had so much character. She had a heart problem which left her with a mobility problem.
Miah
Miah is the daughter of an Artificial Insemination of semen sent from the US.

Miah is a brood bitch here at Robenger. Her litter sister was exported to the US and has been awarded with the Grand Champion award. Miah has had three litters to date and we have chosen her to be Artificially Inseminated using semen received from a dog that lived in California USA. Miah gives us the opportunity to out cross and diversify to ensure that we do not breed close, (i.e. we don’t mate pairs that are closely related.)
The owner of the dog that has supplied the semen for Miah’s 2017 litter who lives near Monterey, California wants to have a dog and bitch puppy from this litter back in the US.
Cassie (Deceased)
Cassie is the daughter of Alex and a bitch owned by a breeder in Lincolnshire. Her mother was imported from Finland. Being an Alex daughter, Cassie gives us the female continuation of the Driftwood’s line.

She has had 4 litters with Milo and they have produced puppies that is becoming a Robenger style. Having had 4 litters, she has been retired from breeding. I have had her spayed.
Molly, Max & Milo
Milo (right) was born in Washington State, USA in Jan 2014. We imported him as he has a fantastic pedigree and he gives us a diversity of breeding options. He has sired 3 litters.

She is a well-structured girl with a semi-curly coat. She is shorn short as she is not shown and keeping the coat short makes it easy to maintain.
